At the Coding Collaborative, our mission is to empower School of Business students with the fundamentals of programming and its diverse applications. Through our multifaceted approach to learning, we foster a collaborative and inclusive environment that encourages all members to participate and engage in their own unique way. By combining our passion for technology with kind attitudes and a supportive community, we strive to create a space that inspires members to explore, innovate, and transform their ideas into impactful solutions.
What We Teach
Java is a multi-platform, object-oriented, and network-centric language that can be used as a platform in itself. It is a fast, secure, reliable programming language for coding everything from mobile apps and enterprise software to big data applications and server-side technologies.
Learn morePython is a high-level, general-purpose programming language. Its design philosophy emphasizes code readability with the use of significant indentation. Python is dynamically typed and garbage-collected. It supports multiple programming paradigms, including structured, object-oriented and functional programming.
Learn moreStructured query language (SQL) is a programming language for storing and processing information in a relational database. A relational database stores information in tabular form, with rows and columns representing different data attributes and the various relationships between the data values.
Learn moreThe Raspberry Pi is a low cost, credit-card sized computer that plugs into a computer monitor or TV, and uses a standard keyboard and mouse. It is a capable little device that enables people of all ages to explore computing, and to learn how to program in languages like Scratch and Python.
